The combination of merino wool and Primaloft makes these Café du Cycliste Socks a superb choice for cold-weather riding. There is a Primaloft layer under the heel, sole and toes to provide extra insulation where the foot is in contact with the bottom of the shoe, and merino wool provides the thermoregulation elsewhere, ensuring warmth, breathability and comfort. As well as being an excellent insulator, the wool is antimicrobial to prevent nasty smells from developing and good at wicking moisture away from the skin to keep the feet dry.
